The leaders of the 9 mile race went out for a second lap due to poor signage and I'm not sure if they were awarded the win. The signage wasn't great. Marshalling was non-existant. The aid stations were cups of water. I can't say that on this basis I could recommend but I hope that the feedback can be taken on board for their future races (of which they organise a fair few)

It's a terrible event. It was the worst organised event I have ever run. Race briefing and pre-arrival info were useless. All runners got lost due to wrong and missing signage. There was one marshall throughout the whole course. I wouldn't recommend it. The race has a lot of potential, however, but for the price, I expected more.

15 brutal miles in the frosty countryside...what more could you want? The route starts out as tough as it continues as you are met with a trail “mound” to warm those legs up. Granted it had been snowing this weekend so footing was tough but it was merely a taste of things to come. The 1st 9 mile loop teases you as most of the field finish here and sprint to the finish after the ascent and decent of Mayhill, yet us nutters were ushered to a smaller, but steeper 2nd ascent to get those bonus 6 miles in.

Really well organised, stunning views and really challenging course. If you like your quads burning then this is a race for you!

Brutal, neverending uphill climbs. Great scenery (if you can raise your head to look at it). Excellent organisation from the Trimax team.
