I’ve done many Kinetic races and they are always well-run. This one was no exception. It was my first time doing Marsh Creek and the course is absolutely beautiful and the hills are quite fun on the bike. I would definitely do this one again! My one frustration with Kinetic is that they’ve switched from the soft cotton shirts to this strange “tech” material, and they’ve been out of my size at every race I’ve been to recently. So I haven’t received a shirt I can actually wear for the last 3-4 races I’ve done. I wish they’d go back to cotton or maybe do a ladies cut tank top. And it would be nice if the size we listed at registration was actually available at packet pick up.

Kinetics always does a great job with these triathlon events. I really enjoy participating in triathlons they run. They are well staffed, and staff is congenial. Two areas for improvement are to add a fourth orange buoy to the water swim closer in, like the map picture depicts. It is easy to miss the buoys as you're swimming. Second, the food after the race has few gluten-free options for those of us with celiac. I did manage to find some gluten-free trail mix, but that was not put out. There were some fruit options, but nothing else.

Great event, even though it’s congested and busy on bike course with the predictable Angry Ripped ‘Merican Flag Guys In Pickups on several roads honking and making things dangerous… One big note: not everyone is a middle-aged white guy and wants to hear classic rock/heavy metal the entire event - how about mixing it up with some soul and funk or really anything else. Or ask your participants for their favorite training song beforehand and build a playlist. Something small that could really enhance the pre-race and race itself.

You do an awesome job from start to finish. The parking wasn’t a fault of yours but it sure was far away from the start. The finish/awards area was a bit congested but again.. not a fault of yours. Hopefully the construction will be over next year and we can spread out a bit. ...

I felt this was an awesome event starting right off with a beautiful Sunday morning sunrise swim in the calm waters of Marsh Creek Lake. What a bike course! Offering much. Smooth Roads which doesn't come easy to find in Pennsylvania. Challenging hills without being overbearing yet definitely make one try. This along with some fast technical downhill sections seeing 40mph and just flowing. Run course, a mix of everything thrown into a 5k. From Pavement to Gravel to Grassy Fields and decent elevation. Overall a great course!!!
