I am a Marlow half convert and happily drive an hour every year to re-do the course. This must have been my 6th or 7th time and I would happily do it again. Pretty route that is challenging but worth the challenge.

I mean, come on, this is the best half marathon in the area. Beautiful surroundings, autumn scenarios, closed roads, multitude of marshalls and supporters. Marlow is just beautiful, historical, you have to run it to believe it !

Excellently organised. Best signage I’ve seen in a run. All the event staff were exceptional. Professional and in control. I felt they had complete control and I felt safe at all times. I was also impressed with the toilets at the race event village, they had sanitary items for women and the wait time was low. I loved the fun element too with the firework going off and the people dressed up. What to improve? Perhaps a toilet half way for women. I had to use the bush but to be honest I understand this might not be possible. Finally, I noticed some gel packets that had been discarded by people en route on the road. Perhaps some Comms to people on why they shouldn’t do this and what they should do with them. These are all small things to be even better! A fantastic run. Thank you.

This was my first half marathon and my first official race and I loved it. It was tough, it pushed and challenged me. Everything was so well organised, communicated and managed - from signup to the race finish Will definitely be back in 2027
