Fantastic event, how many races have a swim and cave walk as part of the event... Beautiful scenery and wonderful marshalls, very well organised.

Excellent organisation and communication. Eco-friendly - race numbers drawn/written on participants rather than paper/pins. Signage reused, even cable ties! A cracking run course with wide-ranging views of Lundy island and South Wales. An optional swim across a pond. We spotted Exmoor deer in the distance too. A very friendly and welcoming event with no cut off making it an excellent event to give trail running a go.

The event site was easy to get to and such a lovely venue. The event staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate in any way making me feel so comfortable. The course was tough in places but the end was great being able to swim the lake, such a great experience

Absolutely Fantastic event on some of Exmoor’s very best Moorland. If you think you’ve raced everything, try this, as the Man vs Moor is a very different Beast and will surprise you….. Will be back next year!

Such a fun event. First time doing it this year after hearing lots of good rumours. Beautiful views across the wildest parts of Exmoor. Mostly on trails with some fun boggy bits too. Love the short swim across Pinkery pond then through the tunnel before a final downhill section t...

What an incredible event! It was fantastic to see so many younger runners taking part, which created a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. The course was a real challenge and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to test themselves. Coming from the relatively flat landscapes of Norfolk, this was a completely different experience for me. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the support crew were friendly, enthusiastic, and encouraging throughout. I’ve never taken part in a race before where mountain rescue was on hand, which really highlighted the nature of the challenge. And as an added bonus, the coffee was excellent too.
