A relaxed and welcoming event with a low-key family feel, great for me as a visitor with no previous connection to the organisers or area. Really well marked and marshalled with bike and tail runner support. Great communication and adaptation from First Light to help me participate. Route was nice, apart from the horrible hill near the finish. Just challenging enough to make it fun, without too much suffering, .... lovely

A very friendly and professional event. Great to have a women only event and for a great cause. Course was well signed, lots of marshalls and great cakes at the end. The information running up to the event was timely and relevant. I’d highly recommend First Light Adventures.

Really enjoyable event, the most fun I have had at a race in a long time. This is a beautiful route and extremely well organised. I was blown away by the support on the course. I struggle to get out on trails like this sometimes due to previous bad experiences and felt extremely safe throughout this race. It was great to see women supporting women as we passed each other too. Would love to come back and volunteer to give back! Thank you.

Small event which was fab! Challenging course with some pretty views at times if you take time to look up and around you! Marshalls were all really supporting and friendly - just what you need after a a few decent inclines! All communication pre-event was spot on and the coff...

What an event, and what an introduction to both trails and the half-marathon distance. The route itself was challenging, and for an inexperienced trail runner, very hilly! Although others may refer to it as 'undulating' ;) The course was well marked and well marshalled. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and I loved the support from all the other runners as well. Overall would definitely recommend and would, for my sins, run again :)
