Wonderful event, my 5th time doing this 10k . Only slight downside was the heat, a bit cooler would have been nice and maybe allowed a better time. If you want a course with character, variety of terrain and great scenery then this is the place to come.

My wife has poor mobility and uses a walking aid. On the day the staff were so kind to her they brought her to the event village in a golf buggy and afterwards brought her back to the car. We had a great day and she felt included throughout so thanks very much to all involved 😀

It was such a well-organised and fun event. I had never done a trail run before so it was definitely tough but well-worth it. And so many crew-members and volunteers along the way. Really well done!

Loved every moment of this event! The atmosphere was great! Had the best time, would highly recommend.. The castle, lake, Marshalls were amazing, everyone was so good to us & delighted we could take part- will definitely do again next year.

My 1st half marathon and I am so glad it was, an outstanding day that was ran so well and with such a fantastic atmosphere. We were told at the pre race talk that the course wouldn't be for setting PBs but I am afraid they were wrong 😀 thank you to all involved
