AMAZING event from start to finish everyone was so welcoming and friendly the staff and volunteers were so kind so motivational. It was pouring down all day but the morale was still high. It was my first backyard ultra and I will 100% be doing it again next year cannot fault this...

It’s a hilly course but the organisers were absolutely amazing 10/10, couldn’t recommend this event more. I’ll definitely be back for another taste. Every runner I met on the day was so lovely and supportive it was a great community and atmosphere!

Great very friendly event. The team were fab, really supportive. Instructions were all very clear. Logistics at the camp site were good; parking and camping were all well managed. Food, water and toilets were all easily accessible and plentiful. I thought doing two laps within one yard might be (more!) repetitive but actually it meant we got to see friendly faces half way through each yard which was most appreciated. Course is hilly but I liked that - helped with pacing/deciding when to run and when to walk, and it was clear from the info on sign up that there would be hills.

My first back yard ultra- what an experience. Lorraine and the team were incredibly friendly and they went above and beyond with there support.. The atmosphere was really good despite the weather. The route was as expected - tough but also alot of running through woods which helped with shade from the sun and the rain. I learnt so much at this event, pacing , nutrition and using those few minutes rest wisely. I’ve actually lost interest in running a continuous ultra after this event. Back Yard Ultras are the way forward for me , can’t wait for next year 💪😊

It was my first ultra and I had a great time! The event staff and volunteers were incredibly helpful, the communication, snacks and drinks were great, perfect amount of toilets and the course was well signposted. Very keen to sign up to next years!!!
