SPECIAL MENTION - So many EXCELLENT positive marshals. Brilliant encouragement. MAJOR ANNOYANCE - Race village 10 minutes walk from start - better if the epicentre was moved to be just behind the start, on that big empty dual-carrriageway bypass.

Picture on the medal was nice, but very dark and the writing is difficult to read. Saw lots of dropped bottles and cups after the water station, maybe an obvious bin is needed

A very good event, superbly organised and marshalled. Tough course, great looking T-shirt, lots of support and a good buzz to the race village. Communication before the race was excellent as it was immediately before the start. Hard to go wrong on course. Good crowd to the finish line, not too long to wait for the post race presentation and free pics to download too. On the downside, no loo roll in the toilet, and a wooden medal (I'm not a fan). Maybe a litter bin near the start area too.
