Lichfield 19k 1. Good as it was not a multi distance event, just one distance/race. I don’t enter multi distance events and wish they didn’t exist. One distance is more communal. Multi lap variable distances are awful. 2 Chipped and age ranking - good. 3. No t-shirt - bad. Much more useful than a medal or goodie bag which are not very eco or useful. Drop medals and always issue t shirts or offer as a purchase option. I would do it again if it stays as a single distance event

Absolutely brilliant event. So well organised by all concerned; 10/10! It’s a very hilly event over 10k so it is a good idea to train accordingly. Maybe more emphasis could be placed on this fact in the event information. I found out the extent by scrolling through previous year reviews! All that said, I will definitely do it again. My daughter and I travelled from Gloucestershire to take part as I grew up in the Lichfield area , but moved away over 40 years ago. Loved every minute of it.
