Another great event. Loved the new route through to Watermead Park and avoiding the A46 was a masterstroke, l hope they keep it next year. Marshalls were brilliant again with lots of public support as well. Fantastic run village at the start and finish and a excellent goody bag. ...

Was down for 1/2 m but switched to 10k due to pulled muscle, I was able to get a new number on the day very efficiently without queuing. Very packed start but after that was fine, sunny weather and great support from marshalls and public out along the route, route back right thro...

Was down for 1/2 m but switched to 10k due to pulled muscle, I was able to get a new number on the day very efficiently without queuing. Very packed start but after that was fine, sunny weather and great support from marshalls and public out along the route, route back right through city centre, all closed roads and paths. I recommend this run. Nice medal and T shirt too.

It was my first 10km and I enjoyed every bit of it. Well organised event. The volunteers were absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere was amazing. Will be back again.

The communication in the lead up to race day was fantastic clear, timely, and really helped build excitement for the event. The atmosphere on the day itself was brilliant, with great support all the way around the course. The marshals were friendly and encouraging, which made a huge difference. The only disappointment was being sent the wrong way on an open dual carriageway. It seemed there was some confusion with the signage, and I ended up following the crowd after hearing a marshal direct the 10K runners another way. Hopefully this can be improved for next year with clearer signs and instructions. That final incline near the end was a real challenge, but the amazing support from spectators helped push me through! Despite the small hiccup, I really enjoyed the race and will definitely be signing up for the Leicester Festival Half Marathon again next year.

Excellent event village. Fabulous parking at The King Power Stadium. The coaches were really regular. Easy bag drop. Changing tents. Loads of goodies at the finish. Very well marshalled. A really lovely course.

I’ve run the half and 10 k a few times in Leicester and love it every time. The bike park is a great resource. I love all the musicians lining the route and the encouragement of the marvellous volunteers and members of the public. A great event. Thank you

My dad and I have been working up to this for a while. It has been a great goal for him and the event was perfect. The martial were all lovely and there was so much support all the way along the route. I thought the route was well marked and well drawn out. It was pretty scenic, ...

My dad and I have been working up to this for a while. It has been a great goal for him and the event was perfect. The martial were all lovely and there was so much support all the way along the route. I thought the route was well marked and well drawn out. It was pretty scenic, while also getting to see some of Leicester's sights. We used the LOROS car park at the university which was well organised and not too far from the start. All round I thought the event was very well run (pun intended) and the atmosphere was very positive and enthusiastic.
