Honestly one of the best events I’ve ever taken part in! Makes me emotional just to think about the volunteers and the support they gave, just outstanding. Very tough route but an opportunity to see parts of the Lakes that are hard to get to when walking with the family. For a back of the packer like me, l just wonderful to be in the same race as all sorts of running superstars too. Loved it, thank you to everyone involved for such a fabulous day and night on the trails!

I had an incredible race experience and absolutely loved it. Every single volunteer was smiling and helpful. The communication beforehand was comprehensive and I had quick responses to queries. I think this race has the perfect balance of self-sufficiency and support; it feels like an adventure and a challenge but also safe and well planned. I had a wonderful reception at the finish and was well looked after in my exhausted state by the staff and volunteers. I also really appreciate the focus on sustainability and the food was excellent! Thank you so much.

Quite a remarkable race to be honest. From the entering process right through to the finish line. Ourea events certainly know how to lay on a Ultra race, the gold standard is the minimum standard, which is very evident throughout. Roll on the nest race!
