It was so nice to have help to get the wet suite off. I appreciated the mats in the parking lot, but a few more would have been nice to get you to the grass. I also think too much time was spent out of the water between the practice swim and start.

I love this race - MSE, as always, does a fantastic job. This race has great bathroom accessibility, the water is nice and clean, the roads are beautiful and extremely low traffic, course is well marked.

This was a very well-run race that I would 100% recommend. Parking was super easy, the staff and volunteers were extremely helpful (as they are for all MSE races that I've done!), and the course itself was a fun challenge. The swim was a nice out-and-back with refreshing, wetsuit legal weather (I think it was 64°F at race start). The bike ride was on nice country roads where I felt extremely safe and the only challenge was a big headwind on the way back. The run course was a bit hilly, but it was well-marked and there were plenty of aid stations with cold water. If you're thinking about it as a first-timer or even an experienced racer looking for a challenge, don't hesitate to sign up!

What a fantastic course. Great Lake with a straight out and back. The bike course was fairly flat and very quick. Road conditions excellent. The run was very challenging with several sneaky hills.
