This was the first time I’d ever ran a race and boy did I pick a good one to pop that cherry!! Killin is a fantastic route, Marshalls were outstanding, cheering everyone on along the way! Hearing the piper whilst battling THAT hill kept me going right to the top and the drummer both were lovely additions at points I thought I wasn’t going to make it! Tayfitnsss events give yourselves a massive pat on the back! Definitely going to be back next year to do it all over again and yes tackle THAT hill again 😏

First time in the area and first time racing. The course was “undulating” and at times ran on pavements and with traffic but it still felt safe and not at all rushed . The aid stations were amazing and the surprises of bagpipes is always a motivation boast especially in the hilly...

First time in the area and first time racing. The course was “undulating” and at times ran on pavements and with traffic but it still felt safe and not at all rushed . The aid stations were amazing and the surprises of bagpipes is always a motivation boast especially in the hilly sections, pacers were amazing and loved the photographs from the day ! Only little thing affected me was the start time got moved , kindly to let others make it on time but I had already taken my pre race gels and done my pre race plan 😂Will be back to beat my time - second fastest 10k I’ve ever done !
