One of my favourite running events. Always on my running calendar. Very well organised and the volunteers are very supportive to the runners. The locals add to the enjoyment of the day with supplying food and snacks at the end.

A really friendly and well organised local event. It's so nice to be able to get together in the hall afterwards for the prizegiving and donate money to cancer research via the soup/sandwiches and of course lots of home baking!

Took part in the Run like L series of 5 races in 2025, all races were professionally run, Marshalls were so friendly and enthusiastic, everything about the races was great, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a challenge and a few hills!

Another fab event. Great facilities, friendly staff and great compering by Dougie, as always. Such a good atmosphere, most people start the race with big smiles on their faces. Much appreciated that local charities and business are given the chance to benefit and contribute and there is a clear focus on sustainability, be it donating a tree, using card board and paper packaging only orencouraging car share, etc. Parking jn the field was great, minimised disturbance for the village. Will be back.
