My first 10k so the hilly route was quite challenging but great sense of achievement at the end! The event was really well organised and I loved the efforts they'd made to reduce plastic waste. I'll be back next year!

Thanks Sarah, you were fab! Thanks for the review!
Lovely varied cross country course with great views across Losely Estate and beyond. Well marked and challenging route with plenty of marshalls.

Thanks so much Alan! Great to hear such a glowing review :)
Very well organised event and great for all the family. The course was tough though with the hill, hence only doing the 5k. Loved the no plastic and the fact they give all the money to the charity! Will definitely do another run with them!

Thanks Siobhan!
LOVE this event - a fantastic, local, friendly, no-frills event that does exactly as you'd wish for. Fantastically organised, easy to register, good logistics on the day, and good for all the family. What more can you ask for.
My only slight negative is that I came up on the results in the wrong age group, but have no recollection at all of being asked my age/DOB in the entry process......so I think the system gave a random age. Suggest that the entry process should ask people to check their DOB and age category.

Thanks so much Tamara! We do have a date of birth for you interestingly - maybe you could ping us an email with your real DOB and we can make sure it's correct next time! Not sure why it would be wrong, but it is set at the time your first register! Let's fix it for you :) CONGRATS ON YOUR RUN!
Great organisation, pre-race communication, before race setup for bag-drop and coffee, lovely country surroundings. A bit muddy down one section but that just adds to the fun! Relatively small numbers, all-in-all a very enjoyable experience.

Thanks for a great review Andrew! Really appreciate the holistic review!
A lovely event for a brilliant cause and I salute the Kellys team for their support of Challengers - thank you to everyone who volunteered their time & energy.
It was a shame that the kids races were all finishing along the same few meters as the adults races, causing a lot of confusion and some potential trip hazards. The timing chips went wrong for the 3km race which gave some kids a sour end to a lovely day. Hopefully the timings were better for the more serious races.

Hi Catherine, thanks for your review, and hopefully we have solved the issue with the kids medal for your son who came in 2nd. As promised his 2nd place medal is being made and sent out! Timings wise the later kids start was to accommodate previous reviews that the early race for children was not ideal. We promise to keep working on best timing an to try and make our events better every time,
This was a lovely event again. It has a lovely vibe and a tough but picturesque route. Facilities were great for the number in attendance. My one gripe would be timings of events. The kids races caused confusion running at the same time on the same course and the chip timings and results were definitely wrong - shame for a few kids not to get the podium moment they deserved. Thanks though for a great run out!

Hi Dan, thanks for reviewing us and our "lovely vibe" :) I'm sorry you felt the kids timings weren't ideal - it's something we're working on, after feedback that our early kids races are not popular! With the kids medals, there was a little confusion but this has sine been cleared up and we hope all the right children have their medals now :)
Yet another brilliantly organised, friendly event from Kelly’s. Great fun and a challenging course. So easy to take part and organised so well by such lovely people. The marshals were fabulous too, encouraging us all the way round. Thank you, Kelly’s.

Hi Chris, amazing review once again, thank you!!
We did the 5Km walk through beautiful countryside with lovely views. Unfortunately the route was not well marked for the walkers, we were sent in the wrong direction along a very narrow path which was the route for the runners, not the walkers, this made it difficult for walkers particularly those with dogs. On another occassion the marshall was going to send us the wrong way, fortunately I was vaguely familiar with the area and so we found the correct route back to Losely Park. It would be good if the marshalls were better informed about the routes for all the particilents.

Hi Ruth, thanks for your review. I'm really sorry you were pointed the wrong way. The walk was a self-guided route with signage only, no marshals but the marshal who you encountered should have known to let you carry on. Unfortunately this marshal was a late substitute on the day for a no-show and so they had a tough job to pick up someone else's role. Again we are really sorry this happened and hope you still managed to enjoy the event.
This was brilliant, lovely course, well signed and marshalled. Bag drop was efficient and quick presentations afterward with bonus bottle of fizz. Good that we were given wooden medals so plastic free! Definitely will sign up again. Well done!
