All of the marshals were super supportive and friendly. They gave loads of encouragement.. There were marshals on the trickier road sections giving help and keeping us runners safe. Lovely course, well signed with mile markers always gets a thumbs up. I liked the low key...

Lovely course, well signed with mile markers always gets a thumbs up. I liked the low key feel to the race and you could tell it was organised by runners because they knew exactly what runners love in a half marathon. Well done Ryde Harriet’s for putting on this race.

A very well organised event on the day . There was no communication leading up to the event. No email other than the booking confirmation over 6 months ago. A reminder of the location for HQ and confirmation of number collection would have been nice. We travelled a very long way to attend including the ferry and accommodation, we would have been significantly out of pocket if the event had been cancelled and we were not aware. Saying that, this was a very good and challenging route

A friendly event, always enjoy the IW half marathon. The only fault is that a mile or two are on roads, and quite a stretch of this is along a road that is winding, a bit narrow, and busy enough that runners are holding up traffic.

This was an amazing event. The marshalls - of which there were loads - were all helpful, encouraging and supportive. Lots of water stations and just an incredibly friendly and welcoming vibe from start to finish. I honestly loved it!

Lovely well organised event. Thanks to all the organisers and marshals. In 2025 some little sweet treats were handed out which were v appreciated and would be good for next year.

Marshals and event organisers SMASHED the granny out of it! Thank you! I’ve lost 11.5 stone in the lat 18 months and been “running” for the past year, starting off with the couch to 5k! I’ve now been accepted into the London Marathon for next year! I was signed up to the Southampton Half marathon today, but instead i decided to not attend and join in with the RHHM. I was nervous (I don’t do nervous!) because of how hilly it was rumoured to be. Today i got a PB, completed in under 2 hours and did not die! I’m so glad I decided to stay on the island for it. I’ve also recently joined the Ryde Harriers running club. I’ve not been to a meet up yet, but I’m sure I will in the near future. I now have “run day blues!” Can we hurry up and get the dates back out for 2027 please?……ALL involved, thank you again! Great few hours! P.S. If you need a Host/Dj for before the run and afterwards, let me know as I normally host the whole day for Walk the Wight. I also DJ weddings and birthdays etc. Speak soon! Great job! Dan
