Honu 70.3 was amazing. This was my first 70.3 event and only my 3rd triathlon ever. Only started a month before the race. It was all very well planned out. The only suggestion I had was to better mark the swim course. A lot of people missed the first turn around and swam right for the second one. They did not see the 1st one because of where it was located. Awesome job by turing the swim course around as well to keep out faces out of the sun!!

Bit difficult to get to, but this is one of the best locations in the world for a triathlon. If you live in Japan then this one is a must do...

Hotel: Event is centred around the main hotel, which is too expensive, but 5 star. It worth the extra cost to stay at the main hotel, book early.

Swim: Coral blue waters, and I was lucky enough to swim for 500m directly above a full size Mantra Ray, drafting in the swim at it's best.

Bike: It's part of the Queen K so no more needs to be said, this is part of history, enjoy.

Run: Over a golf course, which is a bit up and down and not exactly the best, but the finish line is right by the hotel pool. A perfect finish line.
