Second time doing this one. Highly recommended for first timers. The route is really nice and relatively flat. Good aid stations and lovely volunteers. Just be warned there are very few toilets. There can never be enough toilets but this event is particularly bad for it.

1st time running this event and i absolutely loved it. The marshalls and volunteers out did themselves .. encouraging, motivational, extremely positive! Public support along the route was great ... thank you all for the jelly babies and high-5's - they all helped me to keep on ...

1st time running this event and i absolutely loved it. The marshalls and volunteers out did themselves .. encouraging, motivational, extremely positive! Public support along the route was great ... thank you all for the jelly babies and high-5's - they all helped me to keep on plodding! The water stations were well placed and manned and plenty first aiders and safety staff during the whole course - i was very jealous of their bikes! A great course, not too tough, but not too easy either. Would highly recommend this well organised and fun half marathon.

The volunteers were amazing so supporting and encouraging. The right amount to people for dishing out waters and gels. The whole atmosphere was amazing, can't wait for next year.

This was my first time running this event and it was great. The marshals were so supportive, cheering clapping and playing music. The sun shone the whole time and I achieved a personal best.

The organisation was faultless apart from a lack of toilet roll in the toilets I went to at the station which isn’t ideal to begin with. However, the marshals were fab and encouraging throughout. The course was well marked with some lovely scenery. The pack at the end was great. The cold non alcoholic beer was a blooming lovely touch to quench the thirst. Well done organisers, big thumbs up, thank you.

I've run this event a few years now. It's a good course and the team organising the event are very thorough with good communication from the outset. I got my bib number in plenty of time and found the information provided to be adequate and relevant. There are just a couple of things I feel let this event down. Please please provide more toilets. The queues are massive at the leisure centre and at the start line. The one within the changing areas can't cope with the sheer volume and two toilets were completely blocked. The bag drop was perfect and well organised. The hall is a good size but was very busy. I loved the stalls provided and thought the prices were reasonable and the articles for sale were a good selection of products. The marshalls and other event staff were brilliant, very supportive and encouraging. I don't mind the use of paper cups on the course and appreciated the attempt at reducing plastics on the course. I will continue to support this event and feel it is good value for the entry price, especially with the early bird entries prices.

2nd time running inverness half . Course is great ,plenty marshals , water station , support from public all the way round . The finish line on the running track is great for a sprint finish. Only down side is the cramped start , but I suppose it prevents you going away too fast...
