Intersport Run Reigate Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K

RUN REIGATE RACE INFO

This Sunday 20th September 2020 will play host to the Run Reigate Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and Canon Kids Race.

• 10k: STARTS at 9.00am
• ​​Half Marathon: STARTS at 9.15am
• ​5k: STARTS at 9.25am

The event won Top Rated Road Run in 2019 according to Racecheck reviews coming in at a rating of 4.8/5.0.

The organisers would encourage runners to arrive by 8am to allow plenty of time to use the bag drop facility, toilets and find the start line. The event village will open at 07:30am and be filled with food and drink concessions.

HALF MARATHON PACERS There are plenty of pacers taking to the course including the following times:

• ​​Sub 1 hour 30 minutes – to be found in the white start pen
• ​​Sub 1 hour 40 minutes – to be found in the white start pen
• ​​Sub 1 hour 50 minutes – to be found in the yellow start pen
• Sub 2 hours – to be found in the purple start pen
• ​​Sub 2 hours 10 minutes – to be found it the orange start pen
• Sub 2 hours 20 minutes – to be found in the orange start pen

PRE RUN WARM UP
Before runners access the start funnel they can gather on the grass where a pre event warm-up will be hosted.

FIRST AID/MEDICAL SUPPORT
You can be reassured that there is a strong medical support infrastructure at the event, along the course and at the start and finish area (where the medical tent is positioned). If you do not feel well during the run please notify a marshal who will ensure you get support and please rest in the meantime. Please complete the medical information on the back of your race number before you set off. The organisers would emphasise that it is the individuals responsibility to notify them of any special medial conditions in advance of the event.

ROAD CLOSURES
Most of the roads will be kept open in support of the local community although the course will feature a few rolling closures of junctions. Marshals will close small sections of roads and junctions to let runners pass and then open straight afterwards to support the flow of traffic.

RACE TIME LIMIT
There is no official time limit but after noon the marshals will complete their shift. It does not need to affect your run as you can still enjoy the finish and timing of your run. Please make it known if you would prefer to get a lift back to the finish instead of running yourself before midday.

RESULTS, WINNERS & PRIZES
Your run time will be text messaged to you upon completion of your race and also available as a print out from the timing tent in the event village. There will be a prize giving at 11:45 near the finish area and will include a prize for the 1st make and female in the Half Marathon and 10k category.
