The course was very easy to follow, and it was very nice that the road was closed on the bike. The swim course is nice too, I like the rolling start, although the sun was right in your eyes coming into the finish, which was hard. The turnarounds on the bike got hard in the Olympi...
The course was very easy to follow, and it was very nice that the road was closed on the bike. The swim course is nice too, I like the rolling start, although the sun was right in your eyes coming into the finish, which was hard. The turnarounds on the bike got hard in the Olympic length lap 2 with the slower sprint riders doing the course at the same time. The post race food wasn't great, and was actually easy to miss the tent at the finish if you weren't looking for it. Because of the two lap course, and the two races going together, it was really hard to be competitive in the race because you didn't know who was ahead of you, so I'd say that this is more of a "fun race" or a beginner/tune up race.
