Book early as this event filled up well in advance. Lovely course, two loops around the village with some good vocal support from the community, great marshals who kept you safe and held traffic back where necessary. Several water stations that are well manned. T-shirt in a drawstring bag, choice of fruit at the finish. Lots of prizes for various catagories. Parking right by the event and start and finish in the same place. Lots of facilities and some fabulous cakes to enjoy post run in the little coffee / tea kiosk. Can be hot given the time of year but otherwise a really fun event albeit rather undulating.

The Hooky 6 is a road race with some long hills, but the runners and Marshalls get you through it. As a road course it is a very nice surface with no hazards, traffic is minimal but give lots of space

Very well organised, friendly event, plenty of support and picturesque road race. Fresh fruit and water after the race, lovely t shirts and nice glases to go with Hook Norton beer for prizes as a local touch. very quick to get results out and presentations well organised. Enjoyed it.

Very pretty though somewhat undulating course with lovely marshalls. The race organisers were excellent, the award ceremony was fun and there was Hooky beer! Nice T-shirts and bag too.

Great fun if not a little hillier than expected! Marshals were very supportive along the route. Could I request a cold shower next time along the route as it was very humid...馃ぃ

I have ran this race a few years in a row and it is always well organised and marshalled. No medals but a T-shirt and small goody bag. There’s coffee , tea and cake available at the end as well as alcoholic beverage.
the views are very nice through the village and countryside.
