As a parent to a new triathlete, this was exceptionally well run. Friendly marshals and stewards, easy to find where to go, and the kids loved it. Great venting and food options, super fun fan area and easy to get to!

Great organisation, clear directions from race director and Marshalls. Very supportive and encouraging Marshalls. My first open water triathalon so was a bit nervous but the briefing before made me less worried.

It wasn't good that there was zero signage at the back to transition/extra lap junction. My child did an extra bike lap (as directed by the marshall) and this completely ruined the experience for him and us as a family. Also, it would be nice for those that get on the podium to g...

Really enjoyed the race again this year. Great atmosphere and fun event. Thank you! The one area that could be improved upon is the lack of signage before the junction for the start of lap 2 or head back to transition on the bike.

This is our fifth outing to Hever Castle Triathlon Event for our children to participate in the junior Tri events. An on-going bugbear of mine is the splitting of the 9-10year age group from the rest of the juniors which means two return trips to Hever over a weekend for years for us (3 children). Having said that my children thoroughly enjoy the event year in year out which is why we return. It’s a challenging course completion of which gives them a real buzz. For my part, this year signage was absent on the roads when we arrived for the Junior 9-10 yo event which resulted in traffic jams as ourselves (and many others) were directed up the “exit” route from the car park but our sat nav whilst looking furiously for the signage we were expecting. Never had this problem before. Usually we follow signs for miles to get to the car park entrance. Also, there were less toilets on site and by the time we arrived (for the last event of the day) they were full to the top and filthy. BUT we will be returning. Overall it’s a great event - just not sure what went wrong for a few of the logistics this year as has run more smoothly in previous years.
