This is my second year running a Heights Ultra Event - fabulous event that caters for a wide range of running preferences & abilities. Great organisation throughout & excellent support from all the volunteers at registration, course Marshalls, aid stations and finishing welcome . The festival vibe attracting lots of families is a bonus - I have been 'cheered' into the finish by groups of children both years, which was lovely!! I definitely recommend this event to friends & fellow runners and will be sure to return

Very well organised from the kit check on arrival, to the friendly faces awaiting the finishers over 12 hours later. Well marked route, watching for big green dots became an obsession, even if I missed one or two, but the supplied gpx was loaded on my Garmin and I soon fixed my mistakes. Very friendly marshals with loads of food at the feed stations and plenty of liquids for replenishing carried supplies. Definitely can recommend this as a first time 50 miles ultra (as it was for me).

My first ever event so did not know what to expect! Neil and the team were great, well organised and the course was excellent. Aid stations were very well stocked and everyone was very helpful and friendly. I will be attending next year for sure!
