Everyone is so encouraging and kind- member of the public giving out sweets and snacks, playing music cheering and clapping.. It is BRILLIANT and I love it... it will be my 10th next year!!

I don’t live locally to this event, but I’ve now taken part more than five times—and that says it all! It’s a fantastic race with incredible spectator support all along the course, which really helps keep you motivated. The organisation is excellent from start to finish. Communication in the lead-up is clear, detailed, and reassuring, so you always feel well-prepared. On the day, everything runs smoothly—the bag drop is straightforward and conveniently located right by the start/finish area, and the aid stations are evenly spaced throughout the course. Finishing along the seafront is a real highlight, and it’s a great excuse to spend some time exploring the area afterwards. I was also able to park for free at a nearby school and walk to the event (which is mentioned in the pre race emails), with clear signage and plenty of friendly marshals on hand to help if needed. Overall, I can’t recommend this race enough—100% I’ll be back again!

I travelled from Leeds to take part in the Hastings Half marathon and it was sooo worth the effort😍😎☺️ this is one of the best races I have ever done and I’ve done lots! The organisation was exemplary and the welcome and hospitality of the people of Hastings was humbling- I have never seen crowds like this outside of London but they were joyful, charitable and so supportive. Runners will never need to carry nutrition or water for this race as the crowds provide both in huge quantities at regular intervals- thank you Nice Work, Hastings Lions and most of all the people of Hastings for providing us with amazing memories 👏👏👏☺️😎😍
