Sorry to hear that. We made one change the week of the event to take out a descent that had become dangerously washed out. We did email everyone with the new route.

Good event. A lot of people seemed to have a problem with the self navigation & no markings out on the longer courses. Advertised as bacon & egg roll available? Feed station was poor, nothing like the Devon grit, which was excellent. Last bit coming out of the woods straight ont...

Sorry to hear you had problems with the navigation. We reccied the whole course with the final gpx two weeks before the event & had no navigation problems. We did put arrows on a couple of sections where it is easy to go wrong. We strongly recommend that in future you use FIT format files by downloading from RidewithGPS or by importing the GPX into Garmin Connect or the Wahoo equivalent as they do work better than a basic gpx file. We'll make sure we include instructions for that process in future. Bacon & egg rolls were available at Holcombe feed station all day & we didn't run out!

This was the first time doing this particular event and what a great time I had. It was well organised and the feed station halfway round was excellent. All staff I dealt with were very approachable and friendly. The communication (emails/info/website) was really good too. The course was great fun with a good mix of surfaces and the provided gps route was exact (I just wished they could have flattend off one or two of the steep hills :-) ). I enjoyed myself so much I'm going to do it again next year.
