My first time in this race. But I have ran in other Tape 2 Tape events & the organisers are passionate about their events. Unfortunately this year within 24hrs prior to the race the half marathon had to be cancelled due to high speed winds. This ment more people then planned started the 10k, after a long walk from registration to the start you could see there were all kinds of runners taking part. The 10k course had been altered to cater for the high winds, but a mixture of off road & road I felt was a good course with some great views of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Lincolnshire wasn’t flat as a pancake here. There where a couple of bottleneck areas & we had over 3 minutes stationary, I would imagine this was mainly down to the changes made due to weather. Marshals were good & at the finish you received water, a bean hat & a sausage roll. Everyone was friendly & we will definitely return

I did this in 2016, and my 2nd year of running it. Its a half in the Lincolnshire wolds, however you run it in pairs and have to finish in pairs. Its pretty much off-road all the way round, and some wicked hills on the course as well, some real killers. The 1st few miles are s...

Its a half in the Lincolnshire wolds, however you run it in pairs and have to finish in pairs.

Its pretty much off-road all the way round, and some wicked hills on the course as well, some real killers.

The 1st few miles are single track so minimal overtaking, but by mile 4 it spreads out and great fun, the killer hill is mile 7

The views are amazing, really good.

Minimal spectators, however marshalls do a great job but its all about the views.

Last mile is downhill which is nice, coast to finish line then rewarded as a pair with a bennie hat and a hot drink - so much needed.
