This was a great, low-key no-fuss fell running race. Kit check and registration were quick and easy. Although self-nav is required there were friendly marhsall on route at the split points. Squash, water and biscuits at the end. Some direction markers at the end to guide runner through the town would be useful as this wasn't clear on the maps but no other complaints. Will be back for the longer distance next year!

Loved the route and great scenery. CP marshals helpful in terms of attracting you to them and heading off. I did find the website a little confusing showing old dates (2020 & 2024) and referencing changes to previous course routes. It would be better to slim this to what is correct for the current event. I missed the cut off time in the information (as there was a lot of it) and having spent too much time enjoying myself on the hills timed out. Loved the event and route and want to come back and finish it the next time.

The kinder groovy baby is a great event. It's very well organised and there were plenty of marshalls and support. There were some delicious cake at the finish too. I'm not a very experienced fell runner and hadn't appreciated how tough the course was! There is a lot of climbing...

For my first fell race in 6 years I couldn’t have chosen a better one (the “Baby”) - very scenic, well organised with great ahead of time communication about the route etc, and tough climbs ! Apart from the obligatory suffering I very much enjoyed this race. Thank you.
