This is by far the coldest race I do each year but still an amazing event. Very well organised, great facilities and amazing marshals as always. This isn't the easiest to navigate on the bike but the marshals help with this and are always happy and supportive. This is certainly one beginners race to do just wrap up because it is usually cold! SBR Events are a great company to race with. They will always look after you.

A great event, extremely well run. This years move of the transition worked really well. It’s also easy for supporters to see you and cheer you on, as the loops on the bike and run pass each other. Look forward to competing again next year

Really enjoyed the event, everything was really enjoyable. Agree with a couple of other comments in relation to leaving and arriving back at the car park on the bike - this was tricky and lots of traffic a times. The elastic bands on the run was a little confusing but all of these were really minor points. The marshalls were really helpful and supportive on and off course! Great event and will be back next year for sure!!

Overall, a great race! Pool was good, the bike course was undulating but nice and although there were a lot of potholes these were very well marked out. Transition area was well organised as well It was a bit bizarre to see a delivery truck trying to make its way down to the back of the pool via the Bike Out/In route which I know wasn't SBR's fault but perhaps they should have been stopped earlier. The sharing of the car park with the COVID testing site did mean there was public access and these weren't always so mindful of the tri-athletes, maybe a bit more authority from marshalls?
