Fantastic event.. The venue was wonderful, the volunteers were incredibly friendly and supportive throughout, and the organisation was excellent from start to finish. The course was very well marshalled and clearly signposted, which made the whole event feel professional and safe. A tough course with plenty of challenges, but exciting and enjoyable all the way through. A huge thank you to everyone involved in putting on such a great event 👏

The course was perfectly marked, and the entire event was flawlessly managed. Highly recommended! Great run course with a mixture of surfaces and good bike route with some cheeky inclines

I don’t think I’ve ever completed an event with such outstanding scenery, the weather also helped! I was a bit concerned about the run course beforehand, but there were signs everywhere, no chance of getting lost. Transition was smooth and perfectly located. Marshall’s were on hand to direct if you were unsure. A bag drop was also available. Everyone from volunteers to athletes taking part were friendly and encouraging. It was such a great atmosphere and felt really relaxed which made the day even more enjoyable. I think this is a great event for any first timers and regulars. The course was challenging and different to any duathlons I’ve done before. The run had more of a XC feel but the bike section was still on the road with rolling hills which kept it interesting. The placement of the finish line was great, turning the corner into the walled garden and seeing the finish line on the other side, running past all the plants and flowers was very much in keeping with the event location. I can’t wait to come back next year!
