What a fabulous event. The 5 and 10k routes travel through classic Essex Countryside, leaving and finishing from the community hall. After the event you can have the most delicious homemade cakes, catering to all dietary needs. Highlyrecommended.

The Fyfield 10km was a great race. The course takes you across farmland that you cannot access usually. I pushed a pushchair for the run and we managed. The race organisers were great at explaining what the course would be like and let me decide what whether I wanted to run with a pram or not. The race proceeds supper the local scouting troop. There was an option to forgo the T-shirt in order for the farmer to plant trees on the site. Brilliant!
