I had heard good things about Saxon events so was looking forward to this. On arrival it isn’t clear you have to pay for your own parking so that made us rush right before the start to pay for this. The course itself is very pretty but the elevation doesn’t actually show how undulating the course actually is!! The food station was ok. Yes there was plenty of fudge, however it was too sweet to eat for me and run at the same time. So other options was fairly limited. Disappointed that they use card to mark of the laps which isn’t that environmentally friendly although they do offer a free cup hire for the event. The goodie bag was ok but. I personally didn’t think it was that great value for money as I don’t drink having that replaced with a can of Coke was a bit meh considering the price paid to enter the race. I’ll be honest I wouldn’t enter another event at this venue due to the hills which are off putting.
