Second time I have completed this race, half marathon last year and 10k this year. Entered the canicross and then realised I didn't have a dog! No problem for the organisers who transferred me to the 10k for single people. Absolutely lovely course on route not open to public. Superb marshals round off a superb event! Just need to get a dog now. Think I shall call him Ralph!

This was my first cross country half marathon at Fritton but it won’t be my last! I wasn’t sure what to expect but was very pleased with the entire experience, easy to enter and good communications keeping me up to date with info for the day. I thought I could get lost in the woods but luckily the course had plenty of signs and very friendly encouraging marshalls who kept me on track. The course was lovely, very scenic and lots to look at all the way around, nice bit of mud in places which added to the fun! I’ll be back next year that’s for sure.

very good course, challenging and picturesque but the organisation of the day could have been better. Check in was very slow compared to other races, no baggage drop or if there was it wasn’t well signed. Course was well marked most of the way but I recall 2 occasions my head was spinning looking for an arrow and checking strava others missed part of the course. Having the canicross on the same day wasn’t ideal, much preferred the format of 2017, this years course design was an improvement though. 

Lovely early spring event. Undulating course around Fritton lake and Somerleyton estate. Beautiful scenery and a tough off road route without being brutal! Plenty of boggy mud for the off roaders to get their teeth into! 

Registration, parking, route marking all good. 

Start time of 1.30pm took some getting used to and After event catering a bit lacking, refreshments only available from the pub at the course which was very busy and pricey (3 coffees £10) 

All in all though, good event and I def do again. 

This is a relatively tough course through woodland, skirting agricultural land and across meadows. The run route is lovely passing by multiple openings and scenic views of the lake. 

Event was very well organised throughout, the run route well signed; and marshals along the way to give encouragement to us (and at times I needed a bit of motivating particularly up hill) so many thanks to the volunteers.and organisers for a great run, look forward to next time.
