This was my first half marathon and I absolutely loved it. The event was extremely well organised, and I particularly appreciated the thought that had gone into the staggered start for different ability levels. The facilities provided were excellent, and the bacon butty at the finish was very welcome! The medal was a refreshing change — you could really tell that a lot of thought had gone into it, especially with the course run incorporated into the design. A fantastic race all round. Well done, Helsby!

My first half marathon, really enjoyed this well organised race. All the volunteers and Marshalls were really friendly and encouraging. There was great communication before the race and this continued through the day itself. The water stations were spaced out perfectly and the route was clear on fully closed roads. Enjoyed the chocolate bar and cup of tea at the end, as well as the unique medal! Thank you

Communication was clear and informative from the day I signed up, to the take before the race ✅ The race HQ was well thought out ✅ The pace zones worked really well and were very clear (also not too compact) ✅ The whole club team were welcoming and helpful ✅ The clear mile markers and actual bins at these points ✅ The marshalls and support on route was amazing ✅ Well done to Helsby RC and those involved in organising this great race.
