A Great race. But the toilet queue was so looooong it took 15 minuetes plus to get to use a portaloo toilet. I said to The Marshall organisating the toilet queue will the Race Director wait for us Runners queuing for the toilets the Marshall said he might or he m...

A Great race. But the toilet queue was so looooong it took 15 minuetes plus to get to use a portaloo toilet. I said to The Marshall organisating the toilet queue will the Race Director wait for us Runners queuing for the toilets the Marshall said he might or he might not but don't worry it's Chip Timing. As soon as I went in the portaloo and sat my bum on the toilet seat I heard a loud bang to state the race had started. When I washed my hands and rushed out of loo. The field was almost empty I was running the wrong way until Race Director shouted where to start. I thought what's the flipping point doing this Race when the runners were almost gone. I was fuming I didn't feel like running. But I I managed to finished the race and also managed to the Race not last! But I was still livid that race had started without me. There should be more toilets. The Race Director should had waited for us runners waiting to use the loos. If the Race Director and Team can't be bothered to wait for Runners using the loos PLEASE don't EMAIL to run your 10 Mile Race!

My third year now and such changeable weather conditions, it was a surprisingly warm one this year, i decided to take my hydration vest as the water stations were at 4,6 and 9 miles def needed a drink before 4 miles! 🥵 Support was good, marshalls friendly, medal was disappointing same design for past 3 years just changed date and shape of outer piece 🙁 got water and creme egg to finish, biggest nag is the toilets never enough, dont learn from year to year that 12 portaloos for 800 plus spectators is just not enough, huge queues and possibility of missing the start !!

This is the 3rd time I have run this race and each time I dont think the weather has been the same. The location is great running along the front and into the lovely gardens as the turn round point. Parking is very good and lots of it. Marshall's were very good and supportive...

This is the 3rd time I have run this race and each time I dont think the weather has been the same. The location is great running along the front and into the lovely gardens as the turn round point. Parking is very good and lots of it. Marshall's were very good and supportive with some great encouragement. The massage at the end was good and free. The water stations on route seemed well managed and well stocked being slower this year I had no issues with water stations but I did hear a number of people did. The race was good and one o will attend again just for the creme egg as part of your finish prize. The bling is what we run for sadly I found this basic and the same medal for the last many year just a sticker change in the middle and a ribbon change. One last thing was even though parking was plenty and free you had to be out by 2 so if you was slow and had the free massage time was tight.. but over all well supported even by locals and visitors with people handing out jelly babies. I will return

I did this in 2018 and 2019. Great marshalling, marking and local support. Only gripe is at the last aid station they were only offering one cup (filled halfway ) to runners. There was still a mile to go and it was over 20c. Other than that a good race with value for money. ...

I used this race a part of my final build up towards London. Unlike last year it was a warm day and the 9 mile aid station was giving water out just after the first mile. A well supported race by those who were visiting the coast and a good number of Marshall’s on course. There was a nice lady handing out sun cream to those who wanted it and I heard of another offering a cool down from her garden hose. The aid stations were just plastic cups of water which is fine but at mile 9 when I wanted to refill my bottle I was told they were low on water and it only one cup per person. This changed again later on so I hear but they should have been more prepared for the warmer weather. The medal was its usual basic type with the centre sticker just changed for the year otherwise it was the same as last time. As it is Easter then we also got a creme egg for our efforts, a nice thing after 10 miles. Post race I took up the offer of the free sports massage which my legs were thankful for. All in a good mostly flat race which I am sure I will attend again

Pre course info good, registration on day to get race numbers and chips very well organised, plenty of parking although if wet like it was this year very muddy and boggy. Second year of doing this run, nice flat course out and back along the seafront. Weather didn’t put supporters off and marshals kept moral up despite the wet windy weather, as race is on good Friday as well as bling a creme egg too nice touch

ive run this one a couple of times and every year I enjoy it. Lovely to see so many people enjoying a run in the sun and the free tea and cake afterwards was a very nice touch!

Easy to get to. Easy registration. Toilet queue a little long.

Cold and rainy but that didn't dampen the event. Marshalls all very supportive and plentiful.

Very boring out and back route, it was very wet and widy that slowed people down. Going through the park was a nightmare as it was very twisty, narrow and wet.They could change the course slightly to avoid this. The start was nearly a mile on a wet and boggy field. Not enough toilets at all too.

Apart from that, if you are looking for a PB this is the race if the weather is kind.
