Great atmosphere and a very well organised crew. The course was well structured with plenty of suitable aid stations and support. Enjoyed my day out on the course and really appreciated all the effort the team put in to making it an awesome event.

Communication from start to beyond finish has been excellent. Registration/kit check was easy and quick. The route was absolutely stunning and easy to navigate. I loved that the last 50k was marked, making the closing stages even easier to follow. The finish line had everything you could want. Plenty of room inside, hot and cold food and drinks. A complimentary massage to get the blood flowing in the legs, to aid recovery. Hayley and Dan really pulled out all the stops and put on a superb event. Can not recommend this events company highly enough.

Everything ran super smoothly. I’ve done a few ultras but this was my first 100 miler and this event felt perfect for that. Anyone looking for there first 100, look no further! The staff were brilliant throughout the event. The indoor aid stations were brilliant with hot food (including slaty roast potatoes). The outdoor aid stations felt quite limited for choice with mostly sweet options so more savoury selection would be nice. Also for the 100 mile option it would be good to have an indoor, well stocked aid station around the ramsholt area if possible. All in all a brilliant event.

What a pleasure getting to know Dan and Hayley over these last few months, and wow, what a hell of a race. They’ve truly created something special with the River Ultra. A race that really strips things back and somehow finds a way to push you further than you thought possible....

Amazing event, only in their second year. Proper wholesome feel to the event. Great facilities at the finish including shower, bunk beds and sports massage as well as some hot food. Can’t wait to come back again.
