Loved every moment of this event! The atmosphere was great! Did the 15m run this year, a unique challenge in stunning surroundings, always enjoyable whatever the weather. Really deserves a higher profile.

Thank you Anthony! That's amazing to hear! ☺️ Thank you also for all of the stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 they're hugely appreciated! Number's are capped to help preserve the countryside that we're fortunate enough to be able to organise Man vs Moor on, but we'd absolutely love to be able to grow this event! Please help us by telling your friends and sharing our socials! It all helps! Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon! 🧡

My first time on Exmoor. I'd been led to believe that it would be easier than Dartmoor where I have walked and run quite a bit. How wrong was that! This was a really challenging course. However, the scenery made up for this. Absolutely stunning valleys and river crossings throughout. Due to some heavy rain leading up to the event, it was pretty boggy in places and the paths were often undefined. I really had to trust the gpx route and instructions. I made a few minor errors with my navigation but soon got back on track. As one of the first participants to arrive, I was able to park near the centre while most needed to park at the bottom of the road. This meant that about 10 of us went out earlier than the others. I spent most of the first 20 miles with no one around me. This was both slightly unnerving but also quite amazing and I loved the solitude. There was then an 8 mile road section, which I was actually grateful for as I felt exhausted. At this point, I leap frogged others who had appeared and we egged each other on to the end. The volunteers were so friendly as were other walkers and runners. In fact on the deepest river crossing some fast runners stayed to make sure I got across safely. Very kind. Special shout to the coffee van people. Lovely coffee and energy balls which I took with me out on the course. Also loved the flapjacks at the mid point. At the end I said 'never again' but I'm already thinking that it would be good to tackle it again now that I know the route

Loved this event. Super friendly and well organised. The cup of tea and flapjacks and treats at the end were really appreciated. Flap jacks and sweet treats were on another level! My first time in Exmoor and will be back for more...

I loved this event. I would highly recommend and will look for similar event by the organisers. Great course and well organised. Great story behind it all as well. I really like the story around events and this had all the information on the history and what to look out for. It was really great doing this with the walkers as well. All the walkers were really supportive and encouraging, and equally I would say hi and encourage every walker. Although I planned to do the longer run. It seemed it was flexible if people wanted to cut it short they could, or if they booked the shorter one and decided they wanted to continue they could as well. This was great. One thing I wanted to note, I’m a pretty average runner (I finished the 30 mile in 6hrs 51 mins). But the cut off at check point 5 is 13:00 (for walkers and runners). I thought this was fine initially, but given the terrain and elevation I got there with about 25 mins to spare (about 12:35). Maybe extending the cut off for runners as that didn’t seem long enough. Another point, I was really interested in the Man Vs Moor the next day. Is there a chance to provide a discount for those who want to enter both events. It was a great weekend overall.
