I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter, 12. And as a triathlete connoisseur! This is by far the best event for families, kids and beginners. Closed roads, lovely and clean lake, flat bike and run course. And very well organised by Fullsteam and Barnes Fitness. The downs...

I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter, 12. And as a triathlete connoisseur! This is by far the best event for families, kids and beginners. Closed roads, lovely and clean lake, flat bike and run course. And very well organised by Fullsteam and Barnes Fitness. The downside, not the organisers' fault, is the lack of spectators due to Dorney's public restrictions. But come on; you're racing at one of the London 2012 Olympics venues. It's SO inspiring.

Outstanding event! Thoroughly enjoyed it, and as my first Triathlon type event, couldn't have asked for better. My only gripe would be the swim start. I think it would have been better if the 'elites' had gone off first, even if only a minute ahead, in order to give the rest of us a chance at achieving our PB's too.

Thank you for an amazing T2, T3 and youth event where as organisers you achieved a brilliant balance between it feeling serious, organised, professional and appropriately competitive for the IRC season finale; and yet it also being friendly, welcoming and supportive. It suits those who are racing for regional qualification as well as those who are newer to triathlon. We’ll certainly recommend it to others for next year!

Totally recommend this event . My daughter said this was their favourite of the season.
