What stood out was how poor the medal was. 100 miler for me was going to be one of my biggest life achievements and the medal does not justify that distance for me as people on the cool route received the same one as the champions. I think increase the price of the event for a be...

Great route with good refreshment stops. Signage not always easy to see - perhaps would be better in fluorescent pink. My GPS logged 99 miles - disappointed not to record 100 !

The champion route was enjoyable and challenging. However, after attending other long distance cycling events around the UK this year, I was really disappointed by the feeding / refuelling stations provided by this event, which need to be improved. By way of example, the Etape Caledonia in May 2025 offered riders hot food, energy bars and water stations infused with electrolytes, which was provided and sponsored by Maurten. These changes would significantly elevate the experience of this event and would also help to promote local sporting brands if there were more sponsors involved.
