I'm very much a fixture at equinox these days, have both run in the event and marshalled on almost as many occasions. The event is definitely one of my favorites and I love the way Laura and Johnny put there all into it. As for myself I performed a lot better this year even if mother nature now owes me three laps, her debt must be paid, at next year event. The only downsides were that parts of the course became very slippery due to the long dry spell, which ensured when it rain the water could not escape properly and sat on the surface making it very slippery, I think this is something that may need looking at as if I didn't have my poles I would of probably of stopped earlier. The aid stations were good as usual however I just got the feeling they were not as active as previous years and disco corner was definitely not as good however this could be bias my part. Unfortunately you can't do anything as bout the weather it is what it is, my only other point would be the low sound level of the music in the finish area this year and no wake up tunes in the morning which was a real let down. Otherwise another fantastic event put on by the team at equinox and I'll be back again next year on the start line do solo again. Well done all and see you next year.

First time attending and I’ve already signed up for next year. Brilliant event, the organisers have created a friendly, supportive and fun event with a wonderful community. The weather was shocking but it didn’t dampen our spirits. Great medal, nice touch with all the names on the finishers T-shirts, ample food and swag stalls, loos kept clean and stocked all weekend. I did take a wrong turn in the dark - admittedly this isn’t unusual for me, I have a special talent for getting lost! But I understand others made the same mistake as me so perhaps an opportunity for improved signage. Aside from that I cannot fault the event. Get signed up, you’ll love it!

My favourite event of the year. It’s always so well organised, the Marshalls are absolutely brilliant, even in the middle of the night battling the elements they are supportive and helpful. The campsite and start area feels like a festival. You meet so many friendly, like minded people too. I’d happily stay longer if the event allowed, Thursdays night or Sunday night would be great to make a long weekend of it.

The highlight of my year. Pushes you beyond what you believe is possible. Edifying, fantastic atmosphere and race village. Inclusive events running alongside one another. Bravo to organisers. Amazing energy from everyone. Already signed up for next year :-) One suggestion would be try and up the sustainability (eg) recycling separation and potential for people to carry their own water instead of multiple cup single use, refills

This was my second year in a team and loved every single moment! This is 100%, hands down my absolute favourite event of the year! The commeradery, entertainment, course, facilities, medals are all top notch...please could someone look into the weather? I'll be back next year for a solo, I can't wait!
