ECTF is a must do race in the RVA. The team at Live Red does a great job putting on races. The ECTF course is flat and fast and a great early season test of speed. I have been participating at this race for the last few years and will continue to do so in the future!

This is our 4th year racing here and have had no complaints whatsoever! The staff and volunteers are always knowledgeable and helpful. 2 years ago my daughter was involved in a bad crash and the emergency/1st Responders were top notch! We've always been able to find parking and the food trucks on site have been great. Hoping for a race without rain but that's something we have zero control over. Looking forward to competing here again next year. Communication via email has been good. I have so complaints. Thank you for providing a fun, safe event for all ages. Amy Yurocko Get Fit Families

Team Endorphin did an outstanding job from start to finish, despite weather issues, competitors from age 6 to over 60 & the strict officiating requirements of putting on National & State Championship events of different distances, formats & experience levels. THe volunteers were friendly, knowledgeable & enthusiastic (I know, I finished last in the last race of the day & their spirit was not dampened by the rain!). There were tents for youth & junior tents lined up as far as the eye could see and hay bales around any tight turns & not vehicular traffic causing any worries. Michael Harlow & his staff have really figured out these races, the Richmond area venue and how to get to awards quickly after each event.

Some out of date info in race guide about drafting (contains the old pre-2023 rules) Trafficability around the race site was awful between registration, transition and finish/awards area. Especially when having to clear transition immediately within minutes of finishing simultaneous to awards being presented and having to go long way around in between and minimal space to rack bikes temporarily. Finish line had some fruit gummies for nutrition and was out of waters. That was it. Not sure if water quality in the storm water pond was checked but I had serious sinus infection that night. If one aid station for run, might make more sense to have near turnaround rather than start/finish. Volunteers and race staff were fantastic! Race course was well marked and uncongested.
