This race is going down as my best race to date. The organisation, the marshals, the Checkpoints, more on this later…😎 the views, there isn’t anything that I can think of that is a negative 🤔 oh yes there is CP6, wow I thought I were hearing things when I heard the list of all that was on offer, then the words “or would you prefer something stronger? A whisky perhaps??? 😂😂😂😂 and the negative is… only 1 sir!?! 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂😂😂 simply the best. Thank you one and all for an amazing day. Ian Birnie

Although it is fresh and healthy, I'm not keen on the food at the finish. The strong curry flavours are not everyone's cup of tea and they can be dehydrating to digest. I didn't eat much and went away a bit hungry. I saw someone throw a plateful away; I would not do that.

Excellent pre-event organisation and instructions. Set up for kit check, registration and the pre event refreshments / food was up there with the best and all included in the price. Fantastic route, gpx and instructions were spot on. Excellent medical coverage on the course, not that we needed to use them. Only downside was arriving at a CP and finding there was no water or any other drinks available. Really not acceptable, especially in the recent hot weather. I'm sure this will be rectified for future events and it won't stop me coming back.

Brilliant organisation and communications - before, during and post-race. The Manifold and Dove Valleys provide unbeatable views and challenging terrain. CR support staff - registration, kit check, checkpoints and catering could not have been more helpful and friendly. The food deserves a special mention - pre-race pastries, and delicious curries with raita, chutney and salad accompaniments - wow!

Lovely event, really welcoming and friendly. Great aid stations and even a curry and cup of tea at the end. Fantastic! Only thing to be careful of is that the course is not marked. Make sure you get the GPX on your watch. Also would be lovely to have more photos.

My goodness, that was a toughie! Thank goodness the weather was cooler than of previous weeks! However, beautiful, testing route but good clear written instructions backing up physical map. Aid stations well stocked with drinks and food with a great meal at the finish. Support throughout was second to none and I would certainly look at entering one of their events in the future.
