Great race, loved the mud and especially the downhill at the end. Helpful marshals and organisers, very inclusive. Offering free parking could be helpful.

Thanks for the review Lesley, the event was electronically timed with out the need for chips. It was a short start area so the gun time and electronic recording of finish time meant you had quick and accurate results. Glad you enjoyed the mud and hills and hopefully see you again

Dirt Run... Dirty by name, dirty by nature. Final instructions were sent as a link to YouTube, which is an interesting way to do it. The narrative certainly caught my attention, but in a good way. I know the area, so was able to make use of the signage to best advantage. There was probably one section on the return leg where I was not 100% sure I was on the right track, but my sense of direction and catching up with others on the course confirmed that I was indeed going the right way. Trail races are designed different to road races, and this one certainly had all the good elements that I enjoy - including the strong headwinds whilst trying to traverse a muddy field. Will I return, either for a summer or winter? Hell yeah! as long as I have nothing else booked.

Excellent events, race one was good fun but race two was absolutely epic! Proper trail running in the Northamptonshire countryside. People seem to go into hibernation in the winter and its events like these that showcase why the shouldn’t!

Love love loved it. A proper dirt run with muddy fields, slippery downhills and boggy puddles. Thoroughly enjoyed the 15km route. Well organised, friendly supportive team and lovely balls to eat at the end!
