This was my first time completing the Dirt Half Challenge, in fact, it was my first Trail Half Marathon. I didn't know what to expect, but I have to say, I really enjoyed the whole event. It was a challenge, but very scenic and the weather was pretty perfect. The event was well run from beginning to end and the marshalls were helpful and friendly. I'd highly recommend this race and I shall return next year!

The organisers are always making improvements like the designated bag drop area, which was especially helpful as I traveled to the event by train again this year. It was great to meet so many runners taking part in not only their first half marathon but also trail event. I’ll be back next year
