Lovely Marshalls and organisers. They went way and beyond for us today especially in the cold when we couldn’t get our helmets off and shoes on Unfortunately the bike course changed last minute due to temporary traffic lights which isn’t the organisers fault but it meant I had the wrong gpx file downloaded on my Garmin and it felt like I was on my own a lot and wondered if I was lost ? Maybe a few more signs would have helped but this is a very minor thing The run course was lovely . So nice to have a decent run route rather than 4 laps to a cone and back. Would definitely do this one again and recommend it

The bike course has many sections of badly paved roads some quite large potholes in some sections. I saw lots of bottles and unused gels on the floor which must have come off other people's bikes. Apart from that the event was good.

Great event and great staff. However I think you should ensure this event is publicised as a trail run. I assumed it was more gravel than trail/in a wood. I know you did say bring trail shoes and check out the course the day before but it was too late by then. I had to do it anyway being a qualifier event, but I would have done more trail running training and prepared in trail shoes if I had known. Maybe just some course photos to show the level of mud/wooded areas. Thanks
