Really well organised, love the instant results and detailed splits. Great venue. Minor improvement, any chance of mats out of T1, my shoes got clogged with mud / hard to clip in for bike leg.

Enjoyable race with scenic route. The volunteer marshals could have done with being briefed about routes as they could not answer my questions. The start was a bit rushed without a proper countdown. Some issues with traffic and a roundabout, it would have been helpful if the roundabout was marshalled so I didn’t have to stop. Limited food choices available post race. Medals are a bit boring, same for every Sportiva event that I have attended this year.

Great local event. Well run as always by Sportiva and friendly staff and marshals throughout the course. They even managed to ensure the sea was flat for the event. Good to see so many first timers taking part.

Great event, friendly staff, and marshals, on a selfish note I would prefer a slightly later start, at 0730 its only just light and a bit cold as the sun is only just coming up. The cost of triathlons in general is getting very expensive, I paid £72 inc a race pass. Its not cheap for a 90min event although I realise there are a number of costs involved. Is the cost now putting people off participating in a great sport.

Glad you enjoyed it. We'd love to have a lie in and not have to get up at 4am on race morning. Unfortunately if we start the race any later, the traffic really starts building up on the bike circuit. We do offer various incentives for booking early. If you book two days before the race, as you did, you are going to pay a bit more.
