Another Great event put on by Channel Events! nice to see a big turn out this year. The Marshals were all friendly and supportive as always!

This is an absolutely superb event, and truly unique as a running race. It's really well organised, great facilities at the start, amazing (but challenging) course - what more could you want? I visit Brean Down regularly, but running around it at night always feels special. And the fact Channel Events get permission for us to run around the 18th Century Fort is really the icing on the cake. If there was one tiny thing that could be improved, it would to have a couple of marshalls in the second car park. I arrived quite late (my own fault) and parked in a kind of overflow car park. It was dark and busy and not entirely clear if there were any spaces available, or space to turn around. But really, get there a bit earlier (I think I arrived 30 mins before the start) and you'll be fine. And I got a parking space, so not really a major problem.

First of all, this is our 3rd time running this as a family, I cannot fault the volunteers, they were wonderful, supportive and very well lit! Therefore it was easy to navigate the course (bearing in mind I had a rough idea of where I was going), and the little orange flags are easy to spot too. My 11 year old loves running this course, and we love the photo opportunity in the fort. We will be back for 2027. We love the medals, the added stars and moon finishes it off. Thank you to everyone involved, the volunteers, the cafe staff and the car parks.
