Race day was 6th December and despite freezing conditions (but blue skies, perfect for runners!) ALL the Marshalls were cheerful and encouraging.  To go to any event at the moment is a massive boost and this was charming and friendly and I take my hat off to the organisers for the smooth running of everything.  Everyone that was running seemed to be enjoying getting out into our wonderful Chiltern hills and forgetting about Covid for a glorious and therapeutic couple of hours! Loved it! Great medal too!

Very pretty route. Some hard uphill sections but rewarded with great downhill too!

Very friendly Marshall's.

Beware, this is not a 10k race! If you are paying good money expecting a measured course then this is not for you. All on strava or garmin logged 9.7 to 9.8km which was very disappointing.  Having said that, the scenery was beautiful.

Very well organised. Lovely marshals, excellent medal. Lovely spot - easy to find and loads of parking. Very hilly.

Did the 10k today and really enjoyed it. My first COVID safe race and it was well organised and I felt very safe. Great course, with the first 4 miles steady uphill and the last 2 mostly downhill. Was slightly shorter than expected. My watch said 6.06 miles so maybe a slight adjustment needed? Mile markers also were not quite right. Having said that, really enjoyed it and will be back in Jan for another go! Thank you! Marshals and volunteers all excellent too!

I really enjoyed this run. It's quiet and very scenic and for a blustery day running through the forest kept much of the dreaded wind from hitting head on.

recommend this run for anyone who likes quiet off road but not too 'off road' to make it technical.
