This was my first half marathon and overall, I really enjoyed it. The queues for the toilets at the start were pretty terrible, especially if you’re a woman. The start area was very busy, but it had a good atmosphere and I liked that they had pacers. The course itself was tough, particularly through Allesley Village, but still enjoyable. I only reached one gel station, although it was still a bonus that they were offered at all. Bottles of water were available throughout the course, which was great. A few marshals were rude and shouting unnecessarily, which took away from the experience a bit. The medal was nice, and the goodie bag was by far the best I’ve ever had! Despite the few minor issues, I’ve already signed up again for 2026.

A local race that I try to do every year, still plenty of money again this year, pretty well organised but the building at the start can get busy, particularly the toilets and when it rains , like this year.

Overall a very nice event. Great event village and easy to get sorted with numbers and bag drop etc. One thing for me that I thought was odd was the cafe inside was closed and no stand outside for hot drinks. Apart from that thank you. Really enjoyed it.

Good facilities in the building at the start which we needed because of the rain! Very small queues for loos which is always good. Re sustainability - there were a lot of plastic bottles being discarded. An option to bring own bottles and fill from stations would be more sustainable. Your pre-event email specifically recommended parking in the railway station car park and said it was £1 on Sundays. However, this was not true and the price was the same as every other day - so £5 to £7 depending on amount of hours. It would’ve been nice to have that accurate information in advance as I would’ve parked elsewhere.

Pleased to see Cov half return again this year. My local race so will always support, but the prices has gone up, and then a sneaky admin fee tacked on right at the the end made it fairly expensive. The bag drop was disorganised and not clearly marked for those inside the SU at the start trying to drop bags by having to go out totally outside to re-enter the other end of the same room. Would have been nice to have had better stocked aid stations on the way round, but they were not bad. the support on course was nice. It has a nice atmosphere.

The support was great from the public ,tape became loose of the cones on Holyhead Road which was causing a hazard maybe cones too far apart other than that great day for Coventry running clubs and runners, pacers were a great help and supportive
