I took part in 2019, it was a tough ride all the way due to it being very hilly and with a slight headwind which was relentless, however I can’t fault the organising of it.

Good info pre race, we managed to bag a hotel on the start line which helped massively, my only criticism would be a fair bit of congestion at the feed stations. Although feed stations were well stocked, they had ran out of hot food towards the end, which when your a 120 miles in is quite demoralising. Not sure if there has been changes made since but, we were fortunate to have a support vehicle we could call on, however if I had been riding solo I feel it would have been more comfortable with more visible support race vehicles. If you had a mechanical you were very much on your own in often very isolated areas across the moors etc.
Didn’t receive a goody bag at the end just a medal and it was thanks and on your way, end could have been so much better.
However great experience and if my 55 year old boy holds up may be done again 👍

Thanks Ian, great feedback. As the new organiser it’s really helpful and can put your suggestions to good use
