Fantastic event, 3rd time doing the junior events and always had a great time. Venue is amazing and well run and organised. The only thing that could be better is to allow setting up of transition more than 1 hour before and only doing the race brief just before the start of the...

Fantastic event, 3rd time doing the junior events and always had a great time. Venue is amazing and well run and organised. The only thing that could be better is to allow setting up of transition more than 1 hour before and only doing the race brief just before the start of the race not 15mins so that athletes have time to warm up properly and then not have to hang around before starting and getting cold but otherwise amazing thanks

My son's first full triathalon and open water swim in the T1. The pre event briefing and communication was brilliantl, the staff making the kids feel reassured in the water and the event as a whole was fantastic. He loved the event, picking up a beautiful glass trophy for placing...

My son's first full triathalon and open water swim in the T1. The pre event briefing and communication was brilliantl, the staff making the kids feel reassured in the water and the event as a whole was fantastic. He loved the event, picking up a beautiful glass trophy for placing, and the event medals were brilliant. Only minor issue was a marshall sending him a wrong way on the run, but this was quickly rectified and not too much time was lost. My wife and I also did the 10k and had a really enjoyable run. Marshalls and drinks stations everywhere and a brilliant atmosphere. The announcer was superb and really kept everyone engaged. We will be back for sure and will tell everyone what a great event it was. Thankyou to all involved.

This was my daughter's first triathlon event - her main aim was to get round the course and experience an event. The support staff were great with her during the swim. However, she ended up getting disqualified after being sent into the cycle/run transition zone by a Marshall ...

This was my daughter's first triathlon event - her main aim was to get round the course and experience an event. The support staff were great with her during the swim. However, she ended up getting disqualified after being sent into the cycle/run transition zone by a Marshall after only completing the first round of the cycle course, which was a real shame. This also happened to other people in her race. Aside from that, she had a great time.

The event was well organised. However misdirection by the marshalls meant my daughter only cycled 1 lap instead of 2, so she was disqualified. The same happened to her friend. 2 other children were told to stop after 1 lap but luckily carried on. A real shame on what could have ...

The event was well organised. However misdirection by the marshalls meant my daughter only cycled 1 lap instead of 2, so she was disqualified. The same happened to her friend. 2 other children were told to stop after 1 lap but luckily carried on. A real shame on what could have been a fantastic day. A shout out to the guys on the drinks 'A drop of what you fancy' were extremely fun and enthusiastic.
