Still waiting for the organisers to contact me after they ran out of medium and large t-shirts for purple wave finishers. I was told someone would be in touch, they haven’t, so I emailed the organisers and that’s been ignored. Very poor.

This is how I remember and love running events to be. A lot of events have lost their personal touch with the same style medals, no t shirts and lack of goody bags. Yet their prices are higher. I was able to obtain a last minute Chester 10k place and I’m so glad I did. It took me back to the reason why I enter races. It felt personal, supportive and Chester holds a special place in my heart. The organisation was fantastic. There were plenty of supportive marshalls and the route was lovely. If I am being critical, I wish there were more bins. I had to hold on to my bottle for a long while before throwing it in someone’s wheelie bin. So glad I took part in the event. I had that post-run buzz which I haven’t had in a long time. So much so, I will be back for the half and the metric!

It was my first ever race and I’m so pleased I chose the my local city, Chester 10k. I’ll certainly be back for the triple this year all being well. Great event, the facilities were great. Clearly refined over years. Would have loved a countdown at the start but everything was very well organised. It felt safe, knowing those roads well, there were Marshalls at every side road. The support was great and well spread around the course. The finishing line was amazing and loved the live stream and goodie bag at the end. Chester should be really proud.

Very organised and easy to park and navigate. Could do with asking walkers not to walk in a line of 2-4 as people can’t get past. Maybe those that are slower to keep to the left and those that want to overtake to the right? Lots of weaving in and out and I’m not even the fastest...

Maybe those that are slower to keep to the left and those that want to overtake to the right? Lots of weaving in and out and I’m not even the fastest. More bins around or open bags by volunteers. I had to hold rubbish/gel packer so I don’t litter.

Orverall a really enjoyable event let down slightly by the bag collection at the end (same every year apparently) & running out of Medals & T-Shirts at the end.

All the Chester Triple Events I have done have been excellent and this was no exception. From pre race information packs, bibs arriving with safety pins and the event itself, everything runs perfectly and makes the Chester Triple series my favourite of the year. Being congratulated at the finish by the race director was a really nice touch, and all volunteers at Sunday's 10k really do make this a fantasic morning.

Very well organised, apart from the start. Well supported by volunteers and spectators. Loves the last 400m running the the crowds, down the main high street Overall a solid event. I’d do it again!

No complaints at all with the event set up. Our certificates had the wrong year on and when it was fixed, we went down 2 positions overall- no biggy but odd. Supporters on this race and volunteers are phenomenal and the drinks station is great set half way. Wish there were more toilets prior. Queues are so long and puts a dampner on the race start for me. I love the commentary leading up to the start horn and things move pretty quick so you aren't feeling claustrophobic for long. Tee's this year are a nice design, as is the medal. More protein bars in the swag bag would be great. Never eat the ginormous bag of wine gums. Second year doing this race and the triple- id love a slimmer fit top at the end but that's only my personal preference and not a reflections of the event- that was set up brilliantly. Thank you again.
