Good low key event! Most of the course is flat but there is a section around km 1 and km 4 where you have to go up and down a gravel bank which will stop you getting a super quick time. The rest is on paved roads. It was extremely foggy and cold on the day so the views was non ex...
Good low key event! Most of the course is flat but there is a section around km 1 and km 4 where you have to go up and down a gravel bank which will stop you getting a super quick time. The rest is on paved roads. It was extremely foggy and cold on the day so the views was non existent but normally you would get lovely views of the river and basin with lots of boats. Another thing that will slow you down is you have to twist and turn through a couple of gated/bollard type sections which is marshalled well and completely safe but again stops this course from being a super quick course. It is still decent though and a lot of fun Good Christmas medal, good snacks at the end and good atmosphere. You get a free Santa hat to wear which most people did Only a few toilets put out
